Wood fiber

The wood fiber is an insulator composed of natural wood fibers processed, to which are added boron salts to give fireproof, insecticidal and antifungal properties. The insulation with wood fiber provides thermal and acoustic comfort, being ideal as insulation against cold and excellent insulation against heat.

Of natural ecological origin, wood fiber is obtained from the process of crushing untreated natural wood. In addition, it has an excellent acoustic behavior for airborne noise and is usually installed under decks or wooden constructions in conjunction with vapor barriers.

Its benefits are:

  • Great thermal and acoustic comfort
  • Ecological and natural
  • Without maintenance
  • Thermal conductivity of 0.048 W/(m·k)
